We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial for the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center, ensuring timely processing of orders and inventory management. Your primary focus will be on safe and accurate operation of various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be handling a variety of materials, some of which may be fragile or require special handling. You will be expected to perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order and report any malfunctions immediately. Adherence to all safety protocols and company policies is non-negotiable.
