Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, pick, load, and unload materials.
- Inspect forklifts before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
- Handle lifting of palletized goods and other items.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Experience in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
