We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our growing warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse, carefully picking them, and then packing them securely for shipment. A good understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to accuracy are key. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or electronic devices.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages for shipment and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain accurate records of picked and packed items.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.
- Ensure the packing and staging areas are clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and pick lists.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
