We have an immediate opening for a skilled Shipping & Receiving Associate in our San Antonio, Texas facility. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a safe working environment. If you have experience in warehouse operations and are looking for a stable position with opportunities for growth, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and update inventory records.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper packaging.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation, coordinating with carriers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
- Maintain organized and clean receiving and shipping areas.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with audits.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all Lifting guidelines and best practices to ensure personal Safety.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant logistics regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
