This is an excellent opportunity for AWS Devops Engineer Role professionals to be part of leading-edge technology projects. Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure & Security Services Practice provides end-to-end solutions covering architecture, design, implementation, management, and on-going support across the entire enterprise technology infrastructure. Our services include a spectrum of management, consulting, and systems integration services to help our clients maximize value in their infrastructure resources, while optimizing infrastructure performance and cost. Candidate Should be SC Cleared or SC Eligible Responsibilities: Design, deliver, and support secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, ECS, and FARGATE Integrate SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) tools into CI/CD pipelines to enforce secure development practices Automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK Use tools like Chef and Ansible for automated server configuration, patching, and environment standardization Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline Perform administrative and troubleshooting tasks on Linux-based systems, including log analysis and performance tuning. Lead technical triage and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues Develop and deploy applications using Docker and AWS FARGATE Use CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools like Datadog for performance and cost efficiency Configure AWS networking (VPCs, TGWs), enforce governance via AWS Config and tagging policies Maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, and collaborate across engineering and product teams Required Skills Strong experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, ECS, AWS Fargate) Hands‑on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK Experience integrating SAST & DAST security tools into CI/CD pipelines Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline Solid understanding of Docker and containerized application deployments Experience with configuration management tools like Chef and Ansible Strong Linux system administration skills (troubleshooting, log analysis, performance tuning) Knowledge of AWS monitoring and logging tools: CloudWatch and CloudTrail Experience with third‑party monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog) Good understanding of AWS networking concepts (VPCs, TGWs) Familiarity with AWS governance frameworks including AWS Config and tagging policies Ability to create and maintain architecture documentation and SOPs Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional engineering and product team Travel to client site as required by the project.
