About Us
Hey Clinic for Scoliosis and Spine Care is a leading multidisciplinary practice dedicated exclusively to scoliosis treatment in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. Founded and led by *Dr. Lloyd Hey*, an orthopedic spine surgeon with 30 years of surgical experience, our clinic represents the cutting edge of evidence-based scoliosis care.
*Our Recent Achievement:* We've just completed groundbreaking research demonstrating a *62.5% reduction in surgery rates* through integration of European Schroth Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis-Specific Exercises and Rigo-Cheneau Bracing into our practice over the last ten years.This represents a paradigm shift in scoliosis care and positions our team at the forefront of the specialty. We also have shown in this study that we are able to keep many more children and adolescents in the "Green Zone" - with curves under 30 degrees -- dramatically decreasing the risk of adult curve progression.
We also serve many adults with spinal deformities and a few other spinal conditions such as stenosis and disc herniations -- helping many of these patients to obtain the best possible quality of life in the least invasive way possible.
The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced, *Schroth-certified Physical Therapist* to join our dynamic team as we expand our conservative care capabilities. This is primarily a *full-time position*, though we will consider highly qualified part-time candidates for the right fit.

* Work directly with *Dr. Lloyd Hey* and his highly skilled PA/NP advanced practice providers, 2 highly skilled Schroth therapists, and triple black belt Rigo-Cheneau Certified Orthotist
* Collaborate with *two other experienced Schroth therapists* in a supportive, team-based environment
* *In-house Rigo-Cheneau certified orthotist* - seamless bracing with on-site measurement, fabrication, and adjustments
* *EOS low-dose X-ray system* on-site for advanced imaging with minimal radiation exposure
* Large, roomy and sunny, open clinic floor plan in the heart of North Raleigh, adjacent to Duke Raleigh Hospital
* "Family Feel" -- we are a smaller private practice clinic where we really enjoy working together and doing life together.
* Focus on scoliosis/kyphosis & spondylolisthesis - develop deep expertise rather than treating general orthopedic cases

Qualifications
*Required:*
* Compassion
* Passion for scoliosis care and conservative treatment approaches
* A desire to always strive for "better", and then work with others to make it happen.
* PT license (or eligibility for NC licensure)
*Preferred:*
* Schroth Method certification (BSPTS or equivalent) - _or commitment to obtain certification_
* Experience treating scoliosis patients
* Experience with pediatric and adult scoliosis populations
* Interest in research and outcomes tracking
* Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Expected range $80,000-$100,000 for qualified candidates.
