Previous BEMS experience required.
To work with existing customers and to target new customers, project, and major upgrade work opportunities in the Northwest Region from end users, main contractors, and M&E contractors. Ensuring that all works secured meet the minimum margin, safeguarding profitability and expectations of the business, and providing technical sales and support to achieve the region's sales targets.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Targeting consultants, M&E contractors, and end users in the Northwest Region to secure BMS projects, upgrades, and energy works.
Promoting and selling the EON brand and understanding all the sales propositions.
Nurturing and developing new relationships with end users, consultants, and contractors via technical presentations of integrated systems and building management products.
Preparing quotations from site surveys and technical information, including specifications for projects.
Providing timely update reports and briefings, monthly reports of sales activity, and order forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.
Being customer-focused at all times and delivering outstanding customer service by displaying a positive and proactive approach on every occasion.
Acting in a manner that continuously improves your business performance.
Forging and developing long‑term relationships with existing and new key contacts and decision makers to safeguard any additional requirements.
Scheduling regular contact with clients via telephone and email.
Working with the sales and service teams to ensure the sales offering has clear objectives to win business from competitors.
Qualifications
Candidates should ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience in the BMS industry.
Ideally have an in-depth product knowledge of estimating, bid management, and Building Management Systems.
Have a good understanding of the region and existing relationships with contractors, end users and consultants in the area.

Customer service skills – ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Use of Excel, Word, Outlook, and in‑house management database and financial systems.
Experience
Technical support for both internal and external clients.
Preparing technical documentation and fully understanding panel drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Competent in preparing detailed estimates and prices.
Having an in‑depth knowledge of BMS and integration.
Keeping up to date with BMS and energy legislation.
KPI’s of Role
Promoting the growth of the EON brand through direct sales activity.
Meeting and exceeding sales and margin targets.
Accurate and timely forecasting.
Increasing the customer base in the end‑user, consultant, and public sector markets.
This role, along with all company roles, has a responsibility to ensure all visitors and operatives in the workplace adhere to the ECS health & safety policies and procedures.
