Identifying and engaging with potential clients
Understanding client needs and providing tailored technical solutions
Overseeing projects from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction
Collaborating with internal teams (e.g. engineering, production) to align solutions with technical and commercial capabilities
Account management
Customer compliance management
Export control management
Post sales liaisons with customers
Maintaining accurate sales forecasts
Managing and attending exhibitions
Visiting client sites
The ideal candidate
Experience in a technical sales role within an engineering or technical environment.
Strong technical background, ideally educated to degree level in engineering or science.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
A consultative sales approach, able to identify needs and propose effective solutions.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong IT skills (MS products, CRM software, Quality/Technical drawings software)
