About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analytics Manager to join a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed organisation at a pivotal stage of its evolution. With revenues approaching £1bn and a multi‑site national footprint, the business is heavily investing in data, analytics and insight to enable smarter, faster decision‑making across all functions. This newly created position sits at the intersection of Finance, FP&A and Data, offering real scope to design how analytics supports strategic decision‑making.
You’ll play a key role in building dashboards, automating financial insight, and shaping how performance data drives commercial outcomes across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of group‑wide financial and commercial analytics framework.
Build and enhance Power BI dashboards covering performance, profitability and key business metrics.
Partner with FP&A to streamline data flows supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking.
Translate complex data into actionable insight for the Executive and wider leadership team.
Deliver deep‑dive analysis on performance trends, margin drivers and acquisition impact.
Collaborate with IT and Finance Systems to improve data architecture, accuracy and automation.
Support integration analysis and post‑acquisition performance monitoring during M&A activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Finance Analytics, FP&A or Business Insight within a multi‑site or service‑led organisation.
Advanced technical skills in Power BI and Excel.
Excellent communicator – able to turn complex data into clear, commercial stories for senior stakeholders.
Strong understanding of financial performance drivers and key commercial metrics.
Curious, proactive and commercially minded – confident in using data to challenge and improve decision‑making.
Experience in a private‑equity‑backed or high‑growth business.
Familiarity with ERP and financial systems.
