69317 Our Ways of Working
We’re a flexible‑first organisation, because people do their best work when they have choice and clarity. To support meaningful collaboration, we ask everyone to spend at least eight days each month connecting in person—whether that’s team meetings, off‑sites, volunteering days or cross‑functional projects. What matters is making those moments purposeful, so that when we come together, it really counts. Accessibility, Inclusion and Equity
Virgin Media O2 is a
equal opportunities employer
and we’re working hard to remove bias and barriers for our people and candidates. We build equity and inclusion into everything we do, from policy to relationships, and support you to be your authentic self throughout your application journey. Must Haves
Proven experience in modelling and delivering scenario‑based analysis. Proven experience in a programming language and data analysis tools such as Python or R. Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically for handling and processing large datasets, running simulations, and managing data storage solutions. Ability to work with SQL databases, with an emphasis on querying, optimising, and joining datasets. Good applied mathematical and statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, and related concepts. Other Qualities We’re Looking for
Ability to translate ‘exam‑style questions’ from finance/strategy teams into modelled or data solutions. Technical understanding of the radio access network and performance fundamentals, and an appreciation of basic telecoms business/financial concepts such as churn, MBoU, ARPU, ROI, CapEx, and OpEx. Willingness to learn, test and use various software or analytical tools to break down, analyse, join and automate data processing. Analytical and critical thinking with a desire to solve problems and deliver. Team members are expected to use AI tools to accelerate task delivery, including generating boilerplate code, automating repetitive tasks and extracting insights from data—embracing these technologies is key to improving efficiency and focus on high‑value problem solving. What’s in it for You
Our goal is to celebrate our people, their lives and everything in‑between. We aim to create a culture that empowers everyone to bring the best versions of themselves to work each and every day, and we believe an inclusive and diverse culture makes for a better business and a brighter world. Working at Virgin Media O2, you get a rewarding package bursting with benefits, designed to support both you and your loved ones. If you’re offered a role, it will be conditional on the successful completion of background checks and, where applicable, a financial probity check. Next Steps
