We’re seeking a commercially‑minded, strategically minded
Head of Performance and Analytics
to lead our UK&I performance reporting, strategic and operational insights function. This high‑impact leadership role will shape the future of performance insight, operational efficiency, customer intelligence, product optimisation and functional reporting.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead the growth of a high‑performing UK&I Analytics team covering all functional and growth areas – performance reporting, operations, pricing, risk and functional analytics across CRM, product and marketing.
Set the UK&I analytics vision, strategy and KPIs in line with BetMGM’s global and local objectives.
Drive thought leadership by challenging existing approaches and enabling faster, smarter decisions through innovative analytics and insights.
Foster a data‑driven culture, delivering high‑quality, actionable intelligence at speed and developing a world‑class analytics framework spanning transactional, research, market and competitor data.
Partner with the Senior Commercial Director and Performance Directors across the business to drive and deliver the group’s revenue ambitions.
Commercial & Performance Analytics
Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly performance sessions and influence strategy development, backed by a deep understanding of key performance drivers and opportunities to optimise growth and efficiency.
Provide actionable insights that enhance customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to improve revenue forecasting, maximise campaign ROI and refine P&L modelling.
Operational & Functional Analytics
Act as the principal analytics partner to functional leaders, group analytics and the executive team for the UK&I portfolio.
Identify operational inefficiencies and partner with teams to improve performance (e.g., payments, fraud, CRM, customer support).
Partner with central BI and engineers to rapidly develop deep, interactive real‑time reporting and dashboards to support day‑to‑day business execution.
Consumer & Product Analytics
Partner with central teams to develop deep customer segmentation, behavioural insights and user journey mapping to inform product and marketing strategies.
Support UX optimisation, A/B testing and feature performance analysis across the iGaming and sportsbook platforms.
AI & Advanced Analytics
Identify and influence the group‑wide AI and machine learning roadmap (e.g., personalisation, churn prediction, pricing models) to enhance customer experience and drive competitive advantage.
Work with data science and engineering teams to build scalable, production‑ready models.
Collaboration & Influence
Work cross‑functionally with product, marketing, finance, tech and operations to align analytics outputs with business needs.
Influence senior stakeholders with clear, compelling data storytelling and recommendations.
Qualifications
Extensive senior‑level analytics and data leadership experience within digital gambling, gaming or other fast‑paced digital industries.
Broad expertise across analytics domains – performance, product, operations, consumer and commercial.
Proven consultancy experience (external or internal), with strengths in problem‑solving, project prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
Exceptional communicator and influencer, skilled at delivering complex, actionable insights to senior executives with clarity and impact.
Deep understanding of sportsbook and iGaming dynamics, KPIs, customer behaviours and regulatory frameworks.
Commercially minded, able to link data to business performance and strategic outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership in building, coaching and scaling high‑performing analytics teams.
Knowledge of AI/ML applications in gaming and consumer‑facing platforms.
Technical proficiency
Nice‑to‑have – SQL, Python, R and modern cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
Required – Reporting/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc).
