About Us Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family‑owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready‑mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. We operate in over 35 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia. Due to our continued success and rapid growth we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our commercial team based at our new head office in Kilbagie, Kincardine. The successful candidate will be focused on maintaining and growing current customer accounts but also looking to target new customers to support the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and act as the lead point of contact on accounts.
Identify opportunities for securing new business with new and existing customers and manage the sale from enquiry through to order.
Preparation and submission of quotations and responding to enquiries to win new business.
Work in collaboration with all required departments (production, technical, credit control etc) to ensure all information submitted on quotations is achievable.
Deal with price negotiations within existing contracts or changes to T&Cs wherever required.
Provide regular, timely, accurate reporting against planned objectives for those accounts.
Take a proactive approach to market activity & trends and share this knowledge with team and other relevant departments.
Manage customer complaints from root cause to a satisfactory conclusion.
Any other duties as directed by the Commercial Manager to support the business.
Qualifications
Demonstrable account management experience with a proven track record in maximising sales, maintaining existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Ability to work as part of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and drive to deliver.
A flexible approach to work to suit business and customer requirements.
Strong analytical, IT literacy and numerical skills.
Strong time management, organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
A working knowledge of concrete or asphalt products is essential.
