Über

The role : This is a Graphic Designer role and you’ll produce production ready artwork across a range of media by taking a design concept and creating a final output so it can be used in projects and content. The role has a lot of print elements as well as the opportunity to be involved with digital and web projects, but it could also include flyers, packaging etc. There’s a lot of photography clipping and retouching, packaging artwork and labels as well as creating really visually engaging leaflets and literature.
You’ll develop and create visually engaging content and will design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers and ad, ensuring everything adheres to strict brand guidelines. You might also be involved with the design of packaging and labels.
What we’re looking for : We’re looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as whilst they do have a history of recruiting junior candidates, they haven’t got the time to train for this one. You must be able to demonstrate design for print within your portfolio, and any designs for packaging or labelling would be useful but not essential. Naturally, you’ll also have digital design ability.
Obviously, you’re going to be skilled with Adobe including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and perhaps Easy Catalogue (not essential), and you’ll be able show real creativity through your portfolio. You’ll be well‑organised and hard working and able to work on your own initiative and you’ll have great time management skills.

Salary will depend on experience and is between £25-30K. This is a fully office based role and you’ll need to be able to get to Tamworth daily.
