Data Analytics Manager
to lead a small, high‑performing team within their central data function.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys being hands‑on with analysis while also setting direction, standards, and expectations for how analytics supports the wider business. You’ll inherit a capable team of mid‑to‑senior analysts and will be responsible for raising the bar on methodology, insight quality, and how analytics is used across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading and mentoring a small team of experienced data analysts
Remaining hands‑on with analysis, deep dives, and complex problem‑solving
Setting clear best practices around analytical methodology, A/B testing, and statistical significance
Improving how insights are delivered, moving the team away from reactive reporting
Challenging stakeholders where needed and getting into the detail behind requests
Owning prioritisation and delivery of analytics work across multiple business areas
Working closely with data product and engineering partners
What They’re Looking For:
A senior analyst or analytics lead with people‑mentoring experience
Strong SQL skills and a solid grounding in analytics methodology
Experience across reporting, business intelligence, and customer or marketing analytics
Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Tableau (preferred), Power BI, or similar
Commercially minded, with the ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations
Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
This is a hands‑on analytics leadership role, not a reporting‑only position. You’ll have real influence over how analytics is done and how it’s used across the business.
