Hands-on engineering leader who designs, builds, and operates secure, automated cloud platform capabilities that enable product teams to deliver API-first services at pace and with confidence. Balance deep technical work with coaching others to raise the bar on reliability, security, and simplicity. What You’ll Do Design, build, and operate platform capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code and modern CI/CD. Embed secure-by-design principles from architecture to runtime. Define and operate against SLOs/SLIs; implement observability, performance tuning, and automation. Enable API-first delivery with reusable patterns and golden paths. Mentor engineers and contribute to communities of practice. Core Skills Required
Terraform and modern CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, Spinnaker). Containers & orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh (e.g., Istio). API design & security (REST/OpenAPI, mTLS, authN/Z). Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Cloud Expertise (Depth in One, Ready to Cross-Train) Azure: ARM/Bicep, AKS, Application Gateway, API Management, Azure Storage GCP: GKE, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, Istio, Stackdriver, Jenkins, Apigee Harness, HashiCorp Vault, Dynatrace, Docker/buildah, NodeJS for API tooling. Relevant Azure or GCP certifications. Desirable Skills
