A fast-growing commodity trading firm are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical enterprise architecture within a technology function.
This role focuses on defining and governing architectural standards while exploring new and emerging technologies. You’ll work across multiple projects and teams, providing strategic architectural guidance, balancing stakeholder priorities, and supporting the delivery of new and improved systems.
You’ll play a key role in shaping long-term technology direction, creating multi-year roadmaps, identifying technical debt, and helping move the organisation toward its target IT architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and evolution of enterprise information systems architecture
Set and enforce architectural standards and best practices
Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver technology strategy
Support system selection and technology decision-making
Champion innovation, including AI and automation
Define and communicate current and target-state architectures
Mentor delivery teams and provide technical leadership
Ensure security, governance, and regulatory compliance
Proven experience in a Solutions or Enterprise Architecture role
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (ideally TOGAF)
Experience across Agile and waterfall environments (BPMN desirable)
Management or technical leadership experience
