DUTIES AND TASKS Repair : disassembly, and assembly of rolls for the pulp and paper industry (suction rolls, variable crown rolls, gearboxes). Mechanical :dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments and visual inspections. Head adjustment : checking concentricity, cones, and interferences according to specifications. Bearing analysis : calculating fits and tolerances Hydraulic and pneumatic skills : troubleshooting, repair, and refurbishment of systems. Reading and interpreting :technical plans and drawings; calculating tolerances, circles, and radius. Fabrication :templates,fixtures, and dummy heads for drilling. Welding : (oxyacetylene, arc, MIG). Torque tightening : according to precise tolerances. Static and dynamic :balancing of rolls.
