Our growing logistics company in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of safety. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Key responsibilities include coordinating receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping activities. You will also be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing workflow, and enforcing all company policies and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your expertise in logistics and supply chain management will be crucial to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate execution of all warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Enforce all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety training and inspections, and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Manage team performance, providing coaching, motivation, and performance reviews.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience in enforcing safety standards.
- Experience with inventory control and management techniques.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
