Safety is paramount; you will be required to follow all safety procedures meticulously and use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor belts, racking systems).
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support operational staff with technical guidance and assistance.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills.
