You will be responsible for checking deliveries against purchase orders, identifying any shortages or damages, and maintaining meticulous records. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and adherence to all protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. This position offers a solid hourly wage and a stable work schedule. Experience with warehouse management software and scanning technology is advantageous. You'll be working collaboratively with other departments to maintain a smooth supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming freight.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect merchandise for damage or defects.
- Enter receiving data into the WMS accurately.
- Communicate any issues to vendors and internal departments.
- Keep the receiving area organized and clear.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines, including wearing PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Commitment to following safety rules and wearing PPE.
