Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, etc.).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all Safety regulations and using appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to schedule maintenance tasks.
- Keep the maintenance area clean and organized.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques and Safety standards in logistics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Awareness of potential hazards and a strong commitment to Safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to perform Lifting and other physical tasks as required.
