Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse and distribution center. This role is critical to maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will operate various types of equipment and contribute to the overall smooth functioning of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company Safety policies.
  • Properly use all required PPE.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational targets.
  • Must be capable of consistent Lifting of materials, often up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Valid forklift certification is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • A proactive approach to Safety and operational efficiency.
