Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler to join our bustling facility in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth flow of materials throughout our warehouse, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and supply chain success. The Material Handler is responsible for safely and accurately moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. Responsibilities:
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all goods.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
  • Ability to perform manual Lifting of heavy items, typically up to 60 lbs, throughout the shift.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Strong physical condition and stamina.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • A commitment to following all Safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with logistics and inventory control systems.
