We are looking for a diligent and efficient Order Picker to join our thriving warehouse operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety. You will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or other picking devices.
- Verify product identification and quantity against order slips.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Support team members to ensure smooth workflow in the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and order picking technology.
- Understanding of Safety protocols within a warehouse environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
