Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify shipment details against customer orders.
- Prepare and apply shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS).
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Operate shipping equipment such as scales, scanners, and pallet jacks.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with receiving duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using computers and shipping software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and wearing required PPE .
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within the logistics team.
