This role is foundational to our supply chain, encompassing a range of essential tasks from receiving and stocking to picking and shipping. You'll contribute to maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe working environment. The position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting and moving of products, so being in good physical condition is important. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and workstations.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Perform other assigned warehouse support tasks.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is advantageous.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Awareness of workplace safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
- An interest in the logistics field is a plus.
