Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other containers for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy, ensuring correct items and quantities are picked and packed.
- Apply shipping labels and other necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as receiving or stocking.
- Practice safe lifting techniques when handling products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a logistics setting.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of warehouse equipment and procedures is a plus.
