Join our growing team as a Forklift Operator in Chicago, Illinois! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is vital to our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, picking and staging orders, and performing routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order. You will also assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean and organized work area. Safety is paramount; therefore, adherence to all company safety policies and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
