Join our growing logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Cincinnati, Ohio! We are looking for energetic individuals to efficiently pick orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is vital to our distribution process, ensuring our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order slips, packing them securely, and preparing them for transit. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy. A commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanning equipment.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways and safe storage of materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform lifting of boxes and items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics processes and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and proper PPE usage.
