Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from various warehouse locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Handle lifting of heavy items as required.
Qualifications:
- Certified forklift operator with demonstrated experience.
- In-depth knowledge of forklift safety standards and warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including lifting and manual labor.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Must be able to wear all required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
