Join our vibrant team in Orlando, Florida, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! This pivotal role ensures the smooth flow of goods into and out of our distribution center, impacting our entire Logistics chain. We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety. In this role, you will manage both inbound and outbound shipments. Responsibilities include unloading incoming trucks, verifying contents against documentation, inspecting for damages, and accurately entering data into our system. For outbound shipments, you will pick and pack orders, prepare them for shipment, generate labels, and coordinate with carriers. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficiency of both the receiving and shipping docks. The ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds is essential, as you will be handling various packages and materials. Strict adherence to all Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is crucial. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Unload freight and stage goods for put-away.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for shipping and receiving schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and records.
- Ensure all activities comply with Safety standards.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Perform duties that involve significant Lifting and moving of inventory.
- Support overall Logistics and warehouse operations.
