Our Baltimore, Maryland facility is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our Logistics team. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately processed, inspected, and documented. You will be the first point of contact for shipments arriving at our warehouse, playing a vital role in inventory accuracy and operational flow. The ideal candidate has experience with receiving procedures, inventory management systems, and a strong commitment to Safety. Responsibilities include unloading incoming freight, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately entering received items into our inventory system. You will also be responsible for reporting discrepancies and assisting with the staging of received materials for put-away. The ability to perform moderate Lifting is required, as you will be handling packages and materials of various weights and sizes. Adherence to all Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items in the inventory management system.
- Generate receiving reports and resolve any issues with incoming orders.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety standards and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE during all receiving activities.
- Perform duties that involve regular Lifting of packages.
- Stage received goods for internal distribution or put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Support the broader Logistics team with accurate receiving data.
