We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods, ensuring that shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. Your attention to detail and adherence to Safety procedures are crucial for maintaining inventory integrity and supporting our logistics operations. This is a key position in managing the flow of products into our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers.
- Inspect all deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately document all receiving activities in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Label and stage incoming inventory for put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with WMS software is a plus.
- Understanding of Safety regulations and procedures.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills for interacting with carriers and internal teams.
