ITS Building People, with over 50 years of experience in the construction industry, seeks a Business / Sales Manager for its Guildford office. The role is ideal for a commercially driven sales leader or business manager experienced in growing revenue, managing teams, and developing strategic client relationships within construction or a related B2B sector.
The Role & Opportunity In this hands‑on leadership role, you will work closely with the local Director to develop existing accounts, identify new commercial opportunities, and implement growth strategies across the Guildford and Surrey region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop business growth across the Guildford and Surrey region
Manage, motivate and support a sales‑focused team to achieve commercial targets
Develop and strengthen long‑term relationships with existing clients
Identify and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
Work closely with Directors to plan and deliver growth strategies
Maintain high standards of customer service and operational performance
Effectively manage time, priorities and resources for yourself and your wider team
Represent the business professionally within the local market
Experience & Profile
Proven track record of revenue growth as a Business Manager or Sales Manager
Experience operating as a Managing Consultant or Team Leader in construction recruitment is desirable
Previous experience within construction and recruitment preferred
Strong leadership with ability to drive performance and accountability
Commercially astute, self‑motivated and ambitious
Background in other sectors acceptable when evidence of sales leadership and commercial success exists
Long‑term progression, autonomy and pathway to senior leadership and ownership
