Based primarily at our London office, you’ll report to the Group Head of IT Infrastructure and work alongside peers from other office locations. Your primary focus will be the service of the London office, while you’ll also understand the support needs of other locations.
Your day to day:
Technical Support:
Provide timely technical support to employees, addressing and troubleshooting hardware, network, printer, telephony and software issues and escalating as required, to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. Perform administration tasks for all IT users including setting up new starters, removing leavers, changing passwords, etc.
Installation and Configuration:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software systems, ensuring they align with organisational objectives and meet performance standards.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs and requirements, continuously assessing opportunities for improvement and recommending upgrades to enhance overall efficiency.
Technology Trends Monitoring:
Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and develop solutions.
Working in a rota/on‑call capacity to ensure IT support coverage over the core business hours.
Who are you:
Demonstrable experience in a hands‑on 2nd‑line IT support role.
Windows Server 2022 and Windows 10/11 skills.
Microsoft Active Directory (Azure and on‑prem), WSUS and Group Policies.
Basic network experience – routers, switches, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, DMZ, etc.
Office 365 administration including OneDrive, SharePoint and Intune, with PowerShell knowledge.
Experience in IT system administration and providing effective technical support, showcasing proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, encompassing networking, servers, storage and virtualization.
Hands‑on experience with cloud computing platforms, indicating familiarity with cloud‑based technologies and the ability to leverage them for organisational benefit.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues, demonstrating a problem‑solving mindset and the capacity to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with team members, other departments and external stakeholders.

In addition, it would be great if you had:
Working knowledge of ITIL and/or ITSM tools.
Knowledge of Cisco networking.
Experience with Apple macOS in a business setting.
This role will be based in our London office in a 50/50 hybrid mode.
