Job Title: Electrical Project Manager (for commercial, mixed use, multi family projects) Job Type: Salaried Salary Range: $125,000-$160,000 DOE Location: Greater Seattle / Bellevue Area Position Summary: The Project Manager will oversee large-scale mixed-use, multi-family new construction projects from preconstruction through closing. Project Managers must have a proven background managing complex electrical systems, coordinating with multiple trades, and leading project teams to deliver on time and within budget. The Project Manager must also lead our teams with the mindset of exceeding customer expectations and ensuring all work adheres to Company safety policies and OSHA-mandated requirements. Project Manager Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including budgeting, obtaining required permits and licenses, managing scheduling, manpower assignments, procurement, installation, and final turnover Oversee and coordinate the work of project engineers, estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and field staff Study and develop project plans, budgets, schedules Coordinate with clients and teams to define project requirements and scope Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure design compliance and constructability Develop and maintain project schedules using construction software such as Spectrum Prepare cost estimates, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation Meet with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction methods and strategies to meet team objectives Monitor job progress and quality to ensure adherence to safety, code compliance, and company standards Manage project budgets and forecasts, identify and mitigate risks proactively, and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and legal regulations throughout the project lifecycle Foster a culture of teamwork with a focus on exceeding customer expectations, high-level accountability, and continuous improvement across all project phases Required Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of project management experience in electrical construction , with a strong portfolio of leading teams working on multi-million-dollar, mixed-use, multi-family new construction in King County, preferably in Bellevue and Seattle Deep knowledge of NEC, building codes, and local electrical regulations Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar electrical projects Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.) as well as understanding of industry practices, processes, standards and their impact on project activities Expert-level skills in reading and interpreting plans and specifications Experience with workforce projection and jobsite manpower assignments Experience working with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely on-site project delivery Ability to work independently and manage job site tasks Task-oriented, self-motivated, organized, a strong and efficient communicator Must possess strong troubleshooting skills, have strong attention to detail, and safety-focused mindset Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of productivity Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients, as the Project Manager is the face of the company Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Fluent spoken, written, and verbal communication in English Must be able to legally work for any employer in the United States of America Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with estimating software (McCormick) Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications and Bluebeam Previous estimating experience a plus Procore experience a plus OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification Current CPR Certification a plus Bilingual a plus Along With a Competitive Salary, Project Managers Will Also Receive: Vehicle allowance Discretionary performance-based bonuses 100% employer paid medical insurance 100% employer paid dental insurance 100% employer paid vision insurance 100% employer paid $15,000 basic life insurance Voluntary life insurance purchase option available Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Agreement (HRA) options Automatic 6% enrollment in 401k plan with 6% company match 7 paid company holidays Paid time off (PTO) Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have at least 7 years of electrical project management experience working on mixed-use, multi-family projects? Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, within the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Individuals should hold an 01 or Admin electrical license to be a project manager at Unity Electric.
