Age Care Bathrooms is a nationwide installer of accessible bathrooms and showers, based in Chesterfield. We’re dedicated to providing exceptional service and high‑quality solutions for older adults and those with mobility needs.
Role Description:
We’re hiring a hands‑on SEO Specialist to own our organic growth across search. You’ll plan, implement and optimise on‑page, technical and off‑page SEO to increase qualified enquiries, improve rankings for priority service terms, and build our content engine in partnership with the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the SEO strategy (technical, on‑page, content, and ethical off‑page).
Build and maintain a prioritised SEO roadmap aligned to commercial goals.
Perform keyword research, mapping, and SERP analysis for core services and regions.
Own technical SEO: site health, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, internal linking, schema, redirects, and canonical strategy.
Create clear content briefs and outlines for blogs, guides, service pages and location pages; collaborate with writers and designers to deliver.
Optimise existing content for E‑E‑A‑T, CTR, and conversions (copy, headings, meta, internal links, FAQs, schema).
Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions; produce actionable weekly/monthly reports.
Oversee digital PR/link acquisition using white‑hat tactics; track and report on authority growth.
Support CRO with SEO‑friendly tests and measure impact in GA4/Looker Studio.
Skills & Experience
3+ years’ proven SEO experience delivering measurable growth (in‑house or agency).
Strong technical SEO chops (Screaming Frog, log files a plus; CWV, redirects, sitemaps, robots, schema).
Excellent on‑page optimisation and content briefing skills.
Comfortable with local SEO best practice and review generation workflows.
Data‑driven: confident in GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
Competent with
SE Ranking
(preferred) and similar toolsets (Ahrefs/Majestic optional).
CMS experience with
WordPress (Elementor, ACF) ; basic HTML/CSS; understanding of site speed and image/video optimisation.
Familiarity with
HubSpot
CRM/landing pages and
WP Fusion
beneficial.
Clear communicator able to translate insights into simple actions for non‑specialists.
Nice to Have
Experience in home improvement, trades, healthcare, or similar lead‑gen environments.
Understanding of accessibility guidelines and creating content for older audiences.
Basic CRO/testing and copywriting skills.
