They do 4 days in the office, but this could be one more or less week to week dependent on capacity.
Following a recent acquisition, the business has inherited finance data that is heavily Excel-based and insufficiently structured. This interim requirement has been created to support the finance team in rebuilding, rationalising, and improving the quality of management information and reporting.
This is a hands‑on, delivery-focused assignment, well suited to a Management Accountant who is comfortable working through complex, unstructured data and supporting consolidation activity in a fast‑paced interim environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and restructure business and financial data inherited through acquisition
Translate unstructured datasets into clear, consistent and usable information
Support group-level consolidation through data analysis and validation
Review historic data to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies
Develop dashboards and reporting outputs to improve insight and decision‑making
Work extensively in Excel to model scenarios, reconcile data, and test assumptions
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or commercially focused analytical role
Advanced Excel capability with strong data modelling and analytical skills
Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or data‑led transformation projects
Comfortable working independently with ambiguous or incomplete information
Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and commercially aware
