Senior Full Stack Engineer

As Senior Cloud Engineer, you will utilize your strong Cloud experience to develop solutions in support of Fidelity Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology. This position involves working on an exceptionally talented team whose job is to build cloud native applications and solutions in support of Fidelity's cloud journey. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in cloud technologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment. They will be able to navigate and manage technical complexities while developing secure and scalable solutions for our customers.

The Team

The Shared Services Engineering organization is responsible for enabling Fidelity Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology to accelerate the delivery of value to Fidelity's customers by providing cloud native composite solutions, platforms, frameworks, and security capabilities. You will be a key member of the Shared Services Engineering team who is responsible for building composite API's, tools and frameworks to advance the organization's ability to leverage the public cloud for solving business problems.

The Expertise You Have

  • BS degree in computer science preferred with 5+ years of working knowledge in cloud and related technologies.

  • Expert in building containerized applications using Java Spring Boot & Micronaut.

  • Skilled in testing frameworks like JUnit/Cucumber/Spring Test, tools like Swagger/Git/Jenkins.

  • Experience with Python, Golang, Node JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CloudFormation, Terraform.

  • Experience with building secure cloud solutions.

  • Experience with AWS services, IAM, EKS, RDS, VPC and CloudWatch.

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools and creating pipelines.

  • Proficient communication skills with an ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Understanding of how to build self-service solutions to be used by development teams.

  • Preferred experience in retail financial markets or another highly regulated industry.

  • Delivering Composite APIs to accelerate Fidelity Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology & FBSI Modernization Program, removing the heavy, undifferentiated lifting that slows teams down when trying to build and deploy their applications to the cloud.

  • Providing support to the Fidelity Brokerage Recordkeeping development community for the products and platforms created by Shared Services Engineering.
