Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a server/cashier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a server/cashier you will be responsible for engaging with patrons, and serving and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests and processing transactions on the register.

Duties

• Prepare and serve beverages according to standard customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, upselling and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing EPOS POS system for order processing.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events to ensure timely service of food and beverages once food service begins
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to maintain high service standards in a fast paced family atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier/server experience preferred; knowledge of upselling is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons and colleagues.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
• Familiarity with EPOS POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining safety standards in beverage preparation.
• A background in hospitality or catering can enhance your candidacy for this role.
