Class A Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities

• Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
• Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven.
• Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong background in delivery driver roles.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment as needed.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to freight transport.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in recent years.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
