Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care to a selective patient panel, including preventative care, acute care, chronic disease management, and wellness/lifestyle medicine.
• Maintain high-quality doctor-patient relationships through extended visit times, same-/next-day scheduling, and direct access (phone, email) as appropriate.
• Coordinate care across specialists, hospitals, diagnostics, and ancillary services, serving as the "quarterback" for patients.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team (medical assistant, RN, health coach, administrative coordinator) to provide concierge-level service.
• Utilize EMR and telehealth platforms effectively; manage patient communications and documentation.
• Participate in practice growth efforts, including member acquisition, retention, marketing support, and shaping clinical model and service offerings.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, Board certification, credentialing, and quality/safety standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified (or board-eligible) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Valid medical license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Preferably 5–10+ years of clinical experience in primary care; concierge/retainer practice experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical acumen with interest in preventive medicine, wellness, lifestyle health, and patient-centered care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivated, business-minded, and comfortable working in a high-service model.
• Comfortable with smaller patient panels and higher accessibility (many concierge models cap panel sizes significantly lower than traditional practices).
• Commitment to working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and delivering a premium, boutique patient experience.
