Line Cook

The Gathering in Branford is hiring Kitchen Team Members to join our fast-paced restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and able to work well in a team environment. Kitchen team members play a key role in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep including chopping, portioning, and stocking

• Cook menu items on the grill and fryer

• Set up and break down kitchen stations

• Plate and package food accurately and efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and work areas

• Assist with dishwashing and trash removal as needed

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Support other kitchen team members during busy shifts

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

• Willingness to learn and take direction

• Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required

Schedule & Environment

• Flexible scheduling available

• Nights and weekends may be required

• Fast-paced, team-focused work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
