The Draught House Bar & Grill /The Manor – West Boylston, MA
Full-Time Wednesday–Sunday ~47 hours/week

The Draught House Bar & Grill and The Manor (our multi-room function and events venue) are established, high-volume hospitality businesses serving the West Boylston and Greater Worcester community. We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our Front-of-House operations, elevate guest experience, and support private events when needed.

We want a leader with strong communication skills, the ability to motivate teams, and a commitment to consistent, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, mentor, and motivate FOH staff—including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support team.
  • Oversee all daily front-of-house operations to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
  • Resolve issues and disputes among staff promptly and professionally, fostering a respectful, team-oriented work environment while holding employees accountable to performance and company standards.
  • Maintain consistent service quality and ensure staff follow all policies, checklists, and procedures.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and proactive problem-solving.
  • Manage staff schedules based on business needs and labor targets.
  • Oversee side-work, cleanliness, opening/closing procedures, and FOH organization.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with ownership on strategies to increase sales and improve service.
  • Support social media engagement and restaurant promotions.
  • Oversee private events at The Manor when needed, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management or strong supervisory experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold staff accountable.
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle high-volume operations with professionalism and composure.
  • Bartending experience.
  • Experience with Toast POS is a plus.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to enforce standards consistently.
  • Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays such as Easter, and Thanksgiving.

Compensation & Benefits
