Job Summary/Objective:

As a Supply Chain & Assembly Associate you will work closely with the All Gear Site Manager to help in the production and completion of assembled products. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to ensure that assembly operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the All Gear Site Manager in coordinating and overseeing the production of assembled products.
• Help prepare materials and components needed for assembly processes.
• Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards; sewing, splicing slings, packaging, and shrink tubing.
• Receiving inventory into the warehouse accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely catalog of all product coming into the warehouse
• Handle splicing rope orders according to specified requirements and quality standards.
• Coat rope according to specified requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor assembly processes to identify any issues or inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Ensure that all assembled, painted, and spliced products meet quality control requirements before being released for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory management by keeping track of materials and supplies used in assembly operations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Work Environment:

Dust, fumes, hot and cold temperatures in the warehouse. This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. This role requires being on your feet for extended periods of time.

This role must be comfortable around heavy machinery, including, but not limited to: forklifts, large electric motors, industrial sewing machines, and hot knives.

Physical Demands of the job on the employee:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds, with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Expected Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and occasional weekend day as required for business needs.

Education and Experience to do the job:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience
• Experience with the operation of industrial sewing machine
