Job Title: Neo4j Database Administrator (DBA)

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Neo4j DBA to manage and support Neo4j Enterprise (Aura) graph databases on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on database administration, high availability, security, performance tuning, and DevOps-enabled deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Neo4j Enterprise/Aura databases.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Deploy and manage Neo4j clusters on Azure (VMs, AKS, networking, storage).
• Implement security controls (authentication, authorization, encryption).
• Integrate Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
• Support application teams with Cypher query optimization.
• Automate operations and support CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Neo4j DBA / Graph Database Administrator.
• Hands-on with Neo4j Enterprise / Aura and Cypher.
• Solid Azure experience (VMs, AKS, networking, storage).
• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault.
• Linux administration and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred

• Enterprise-scale Neo4j environments.
• Azure monitoring and alerting tools.
• Graph database performance tuning.
