Job Type: Full-Time, Salary $50-57k base + 5% commission on paid bookings.

Shift: Monday - Friday. Some weekends and nights required

Job Summary:

The Private Sales Manager at Worthy Brewing is responsible for driving revenue growth through

strategic inbound and outbound sales initiatives. This role requires a proven background in

hospitality and sales, supported by a strong network of local business owners and prospective

clients. Core responsibilities include cultivating and closing opportunities for weddings,

corporate events, celebrations, holiday parties, premieres, and other private functions. The ideal

candidate thrives under sales pressure, consistently meets ambitious targets, and brings

exceptional administrative precision to every stage of the sales cycle. They must operate

independently, think creatively, and deliver results that expand Worthy Brewing's private events

business.

Job Requirements:

Outbound Sales Strategy & Business Development (60% of Time)

● Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to grow corporate, social, and repeat

private event business.

● Proven ability to confidently present proposals and strategic recommendations to C-suite

executives.

● Actively prospect and cultivate new client relationships through networking,

partnerships, outreach, and community engagement.

● Build, maintain, and actively use a private events sales pipeline and client database in

collaboration with the Marketing Manager and General Manager to support strategic

outreach, forecasting, and revenue growth.

● Own private event revenue goals and consistently work toward meeting or exceeding

targets.

● Identify opportunities for upselling, repeat bookings, and long-term client relationships.

● Collaborate cross-functionally with department leads to align offerings with market

demand.

● Represent the brand at industry events, networking functions, and community initiatives

as needed.

Inbound Sales, Administrative Duties & Event Oversight (40% of Time)

● Own and manage all inbound private event inquiries from initial contact through

booking.

● Develop and send customized proposals, contracts, and event packages to prospective

clients.

● Schedule and lead venue walkthroughs and client meetings.

● Secure bookings and manage contracts, deposits, and client communications.

● Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager and Head Chef on banquet SOPs,

menus, and event logistics.

● Maintain accurate records, files, and reporting related to private event sales performance.

● Provide limited on-site event coordination to ensure smooth execution and client

satisfaction.

Qualifications

● 2-4+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or a related sales-focused role.

● Proven success meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals.

● Strong outbound sales, prospecting, and pipeline management experience.

● Ability to effectively prepare and deliver presentations to C-suite executives and senior

decision-makers.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both

clients and internal stakeholders.

● Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple

priorities simultaneously.

● Experience developing customized proposals, contracts, and pricing packages.

● Proficiency with CRM systems, event management platforms, and standard business

software.

● Ability to analyze sales data, forecast revenue, and adjust strategy accordingly.

Compensation

● Salary: $50-57k base + 5% commission on paid bookings.

● Administrative Commission: A 5% administrative fee will be paid out for eligible

private event bookings. Some events, such as non-profit fundraisers, will be classified as

non-eligible from the commission structure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $57,000.00 per year
