Journeyman/Apprentice Electrician

Ray's Heating, Plumbing & Electric is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This is a hands on position with leadership responsibility, supporting residential and light commercial projects throughout Salmon and the surrounding area.

We are a well established, locally owned and operated company with over 50 years in business. We have consistent and year round work. Our focus is on quality installations, code compliance, and long-term customer relationships. We value electricians who take pride in their work, communicate well, and are looking for a stable and professional work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install new electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
• Manage and support apprentices or helpers on job sites
• Ensure all work meets NEC and local codes
• Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician license (5+ years electrical experience), or 2 years experience for apprentice position preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of NEC and best trade practices
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Physically capable of trade work
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Clean driving record
• Pre-Employment and random drug test
