Duties

• Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles in various conditions.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices.
• Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition prior to towing or repair.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Perform routine mechanical checks on tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, maintaining professionalism during stressful interactions.
• Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during vehicle recovery operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver's license.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive.
• Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with flatbed towing, automotive diagnostics, or mechanic work is a strong plus.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment; forklift experience is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally when needed.
