Pre-Construction Estimator

Job Overview

The Pre-construction Estimator will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing subcontractors estimates and pricing of materials to support the successful execution of our estimating and construction team. This individual plays a key role in cost control, outlining scopes of work, creating relationships and contacts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

Duties

• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for construction materials, services, and equipment.
• Obtain and analyze quotes, bids, and proposals to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Maintain and update a database of approved suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to forecast needs and align sourcing strategies with project timelines.
• Complete take-offs for projects that the pre-construction team is actively bidding
• Outline scopes of work for various trades during the bidding process.

• Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam
